Why was I in Dubai? Well, who wouldn't want to speak at a conference titled Marketing to Women in the Middle East: Is Your Brand Man Enough? You know you're going to learn a lot from that one! I had spent some of my younger years in Jordan and Lebanon but had never visited the Arab peninsula. And I was especially eager to see the UAE and get a look at Dubai, about which I had read so much but knew so little. What an trip! In a word, it was epic!
